Walderslade, Medway

A settled home, since 2006

Village Life in the Heart of Medway

Walderslade opened in September 2006 and is home to 6 residents. Set in the village of Walderslade in Medway, Kent, local amenities include shops, a hairdresser’s, a library, a church, a dentist, a doctor’s surgery, a post office, pubs, and bus services.

“Walderslade gave our daughter a level of independence we didn’t think was possible. The support is there when she needs it, but she’s encouraged to do things her own way too.”

Our Facilities

Walderslade provides specialist support for adults with a learning disability and behaviours that may challenge community services. We’re determined to ensure individuals are recognised for their positive attributes, and that their needs never define, detract from, or outweigh who they are as a person — with people from the local catchment area prioritised for placement wherever possible.
