Teynham, Sittingbourne

Flexible living, since 1994

A Home Across Three Buildings

Teynham opened in September 1994 and is registered with the CQC for 13 residents, spread across three buildings — a self-contained two-bed unit, a three-bed detached bungalow, and the main eight-bed house. Set in the village of Teynham near Sittingbourne, residents have shops, a hairdresser’s, a dentist, a library, a doctor’s surgery, a post office, pubs, a train station, and bus services all close by.

“What we value most about Teynham is how well the staff know my son — not just his needs, but his personality. He’s genuinely happy there, and that means everything to us.”

Our Facilities

Teynham provides specialist support for adults with a learning disability and behaviours that may challenge community services. We’re determined to ensure individuals are recognised for their positive attributes, and that their needs never define, detract from, or outweigh who they are as a person — with people from the local catchment area prioritised for placement wherever possible.
